Dr. Paul Carlin |
1 Peter 5:10 puts our goals into
perspective when says: "After you have suffered (been in prison) a
little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor],
Who has called you unto His own eternal glory in Christ Jesus, make you
perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle you."
We are taking men who have been in
prison for many years and providing them with a Christian, faith-based,
Biblical, academic, therapeutic program of structured curriculum that is
intended to accomplish four things:
|
|
1. Perfect them - Repair, fit, frame,
mend, and restore them.
2. Stablish them - To turn them
resolutely in another direction.
3. Strengthen them - To confirm them
in spiritual knowledge and power.
4. Settle them - To lay the
foundation, to lay a basis for a new life like the substructure of a
building.
